OUR SUMMER VISITS 2008

                                       Each visit will start at 10 a.m & finish at 4 p.m

                                       Lunch - bring a picnic or use nearest hostelry

                                       Directions - these are given from Hythe

                                       Lift - Contact Chairman or Secretary

4th June - Port Lympne Wild animal park (courtesy Eddie Hill) 15 members only allowed free of charge

London Rd - Newingreen - turn Lt into Stone street - Rt into Aldington road - Approx. 300 yds to zoo entrance on Lt - Use Orchard car park in zoo grounds - Cafeteria on site.

St Mary's road just north of canal bridge at bottom of hill, the house is on the Lt.  Pub - Botolph's Bridge.

9 July - Hythe Festival Painting Competition - St John Ambulance Hall, Albert lane.

Book in at 9.30 am - leave hall for 10am start. - Return to hall by 3pm -

Judging 3.pm - 4. pm   - Public viewing 5.pm - 5.45pm

16 July Rye harbour   -  Take A259 through Dymchurch, New Romney etc... Park in harbour area. Cafeteria nearby.

20 August  Dungeness - Meet near the Lighthouse & pub

3 September - Kearsney Abbey at River -Take Alkam valley road car park on Rt plus cafeteria
